K2 Gravon - Ceramic Coating for Bodywork

K2 Gravon is a ceramic coating that provides the highest level of surface protection available, even harder than the hardest automotive paints. Once applied, a transparent, invisible layer up to 2-3 microns thick appears on the paint, completely isolating it from the harmful effects of all external factors. Using state-of-the-art technology, we have created a product for the most demanding car enthusiasts, ensuring 100% satisfaction with the final result. Protects the surface from scratches, dirt, UV rays, salt, bird droppings, tree sap, insect residues, corrosion, and mechanical damage such as that caused by stones hitting the bodywork. Protects paint from defects that reduce gloss and reduces the risk of circular scratches. Thanks to the ceramic coating, waxing is not necessary, and its excellent dirt-repelling and self-cleaning properties mean less frequent washing. Unlike wax, ceramic coatings cannot be removed with chemicals, making them the most durable surface protection method known. The only way to remove the coating is through mechanical polishing. Also protects against graffiti – paint does not adhere to the surface and is easily removed. Can be applied not only to paint but also to rubber, plastic, metal, and glass. Successfully used in the automotive, marine, aviation, and industrial sectors.

Optimal application conditions: Ambient temperature from 10°C to 35°C. Apply indoors or in a shaded area. Do not apply in conditions of excessive humidity.

Surface preparation: Wash and thoroughly dry the paint. The surface must be free of tar, dirt, wax, polishing oils, and factory preservatives. To remove any contaminants trapped in the paint pores, we recommend using a K2 clay bar. Paint with defects and scratches should be mechanically polished, for example, using a polishing machine and K2 Luster pastes.

Application: Before applying the ceramic coating, thoroughly degrease the surface with K2 Klinet panel wipe using a microfiber cloth. Optionally, apply K2 Gravon Primer using a mechanical polisher, which will further strengthen the bond between the ceramic coating and the painted surface. The ceramic coating can be applied 1 hour after polishing. Shake the bottle well and apply 6-8 drops to a dry cloth wrapped around the applicator. Apply crosswise, once, on surfaces of maximum 50x50 cm. After 1-2 minutes of application at approximately 20°C, polish the surface with a microfiber cloth (higher temperatures shorten drying time, lower temperatures extend it). Do not allow the coating to dry on the paint. After applying and polishing the first layer, wait at least 1 hour and apply the next (for maximum durability, apply 3 layers). Optionally, after applying the last layer, apply K2 Gravon Reload, which provides additional slip and intensifies color.

After application: Leave the car in a dry room for at least 8 hours. In the following 7 days, do not wash the car using chemicals. For regular maintenance of the coating (every 3-6 months), it is recommended to use K2 Gravon Reload.
