K2 Mega Bond is a professional, quick-setting plastic epoxy putty with a wide range of applications. Indispensable in automotive, industrial, and household applications. Bonds materials such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, wood, concrete, ceramics, and many more. Ideal for use as sealing putty for tanks and pipes. Resistant to oils, coolants, and acids. Quickly stops leaks, suitable for repairing pipes, tanks, barrels, canisters, etc., as well as for filling holes, cracks, and voids in housings and cast parts. Can be used for sealing unwanted holes and gaps, and even smooth surfaces. K2 Mega Bond metal repair putty can be sanded, drilled, threaded, and painted. The steel putty begins to harden in 3-5 minutes, sets in 15 minutes, and reaches full strength in 24 hours. Easy to use, kneads easily and can be shaped. Allows you to create any shape you want, and once hardened, can be sanded and painted.
Application range: Sealing steel and copper pipes with water and other fluids. Repairing leaking radiators. Repairing pipe leaks. Repairing steel, cast iron, and aluminum tanks. Repairing casting defects. Repairing cracks in engines, bodies, and housings. Repairing cracks in the oil pan. Repairing worn bearing seats. Repairing cavitation defects. Regenerating corroded surfaces. Regenerating worn threads. Filling cavities, e.g., in chipped plates.
Properties: Temperature resistance +150°C, can be sanded, drilled, threaded, painted, resistant to oils, fluids, acids, ideal for filling cavities, adheres to many materials except polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).
Directions for use: Clean and degrease the surface to be repaired. Cut the appropriate amount and knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth. Apply to the repaired surface. Optimal curing temperature: 20°C.
