K2 Lamp Doctor 60g - Headlight Restoration Paste

K2 Lamp Doctor is a specialized, high-quality paste for regenerating headlight lenses. This highly effective abrasive formula will restore a second youth to all plastic or glass lamps. If your lamps are dull, yellowed, or have pitted lenses, K2 Lamp Doctor will treat them perfectly. Renovation can be done manually or mechanically using a polishing machine. Thanks to the headlight restoration paste, the lenses will regain their original clarity and shine, directly improving their performance, road illumination, and safety. Can be safely used for renovating other transparent elements such as motorcycle, caravan, boat, and even aircraft lights. The perfect complement is K2 Lamp Protect protective coating, which protects headlights against fading, yellowing, scratches, and UV rays for up to one year after application.

Directions for use – Mechanical polishing: It is recommended to cover the edges of adjacent surfaces with protective tape. Mattify severely damaged headlights with 2000-3000 grit sandpaper before polishing. Clean and degrease surfaces (e.g., with K2 Klinet panel wipe or glass cleaner). Apply the paste to a polishing sponge (e.g., K2 Duraflex, select sponge hardness according to the degree of surface damage). Spread the paste at low speed (approximately 600 rpm), then increase speed to approximately 1200 rpm and polish until high gloss is achieved. Clean the surface with a microfiber cloth.

Manual polishing: Clean and degrease the surface (e.g., with K2 Klinet panel wipe or glass cleaner). Apply the paste with a sponge or microfiber cloth and polish until shiny and smooth. Clean the surface with a microfiber cloth.

Tip: To protect headlights from re-yellowing and dulling, we recommend using K2 Quantum synthetic wax.
