K2 Prolok WP-77 is a high-viscosity, medium-strength anaerobic sealant for threaded connections in piping systems. This product simplifies and accelerates the assembly of hydraulic components (fittings, pipes, taps, valves, plugs, manometers, etc.) made from copper, brass, aluminum, black steel, and stainless steel. Its thixotropic consistency ensures a perfect seal. Once cured, it creates a joint resistant to pressure up to 680 bar, which does not age and protects against vibrations. The sealant contains a UV tracer, allowing you to check the integrity of the joint using a UV lamp. K2 Prolok WP-77 is approved for use as a thread locking agent (S6) in and around food processing areas. Replaces PTFE sealing tapes, paints, and threads, accelerates assembly time, compatible with all types of metals, resistant to vibrations and loads, anti-corrosive for threads, and can be disassembled with hand tools.
Directions for use: Thoroughly clean and degrease the surfaces of the components to be joined. Shake the container several times after prolonged non-use. Apply to the entire circumference of the threaded connection, if possible on the female part of the thread. After applying the adhesive, immediately screw the components together. Do not move the sealed components for 15 minutes. Full bond strength is achieved after 24 hours. Disassembly is possible using hand tools.
