K2 Siltec is a modern, high-quality, flexible oxime-based silicone sealant for connecting engine components. Has a wide temperature resistance range from -60 to +300°C. Can be successfully used as an alternative to solid gaskets and in place of popular high-temperature silicones. Once cured, K2 Siltec creates a flexible and mechanically resistant layer. Does not cause corrosion. The engine sealant is resistant to vibrations, oils, greases, gasoline, coolants, and water. Works perfectly as a sealant for oil pans and valve covers. Can be successfully used to seal valve covers, water pumps, oil pans, engine and gearbox covers, thermostats, and many other elements.
Properties: Temperature resistance from -60°C to +300°C. Processing time: 8-12 minutes. Full curing time: 3 mm/24 h. Operating temperature: +5°C to +30°C. Color: graphite. Resistant to solvents, oils, greases, gasoline, operating fluids, and water. Easy to apply. Homogeneous. Acetate-free - does not cause corrosion. Convenient to use thanks to the tube with applicator.
Directions for use: Remove any old silicone residue. Clean and degrease the surfaces to be sealed. Apply the silicone evenly and continuously on one side. Immediately after applying the silicone, couple the components. Close the tube immediately after use.
